1. What is Simplelink?

SimpleLink is an online payment solution that enables you to receive payment with a link. SimpleLink is a product of SimplePay Limited.

 

2. Who is Simplelink for?

SimpleLink is for social media merchant and offline merchants.

3. What are the benefit of using SimpleLink for the merchant?

The benefit for using SimpleLink are; No setup fees, No website needed, World Class security (PCI Certified) , and lots more.

4. How secure is SimpleLink?

SimpleLink is PCI secure (click here to see certification). The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is a proprietary global information security standard for organizations that handle branded credit cards from the major card. The PCI Standard is mandated by the card brands and administered by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council. It is an international certification that very few payment companies own in Nigeria.

5. What are the benefits of paying with SimpleLink for the buyer?

We have an escrow system in place to ensure that goods and services are delivered after payment is made. We do BVN verification for all merchants to ensure there are who the say the are. However if issues cannot be resolved, funds will be refunded back to the buyer.

We are PCI certified, That simply means your card details are secure on our platform.

7. What kind of verification is needed for the merchant?

The only verification needed to verify you as a Merchant on SimpleLink is your Bank Account Verification. There is a One Time  N150 verification fee which is surcharged on your first withdrawal.

6. What are the service charges?

Service Charge

We charge 1.90% + N10 for local cards and 3.50% + N10 for international cards.

One Time merchant Verification Service Charge

There is a one time Bank Account Verification service charge of N150 on first withdrawal. This is to verify our merchant before first withdrawal is made. The N150 is surcharged from funds in your simplelink account and the balance is transferred to your bank account.

Transfer Charges

There is a charge of N105 for each transfer to your registered bank account, except for Access and FCMB bank accounts. We will not charge you anything other than what we have said.

8. Do customers need verification to pay with Simplelink?

Your customers do not need verification. It is only the merchant that is verified.

9. Does Simplelink accept all cards both local and international?

Simplelink only accepts Visa, Mastercard and Verve cards for both local and international transactions.

10. What if Merchant does not deliver goods or services after payment ?

1. CONTACT SELLER

If your order hasn’t arrived within the promised time, or isn’t as described – contact the seller. Most sellers are happy to quickly resolve any issues.

2. OPEN A DISPUTE

If you were unable to resolve the problem with the seller, contact us by chat, email (support@simplepay.ng) or call (+234 809 1020 406).

3. WE MEDIATE A SOLUTION

SimplePay will mediate a solution. If no solution can be found, we’ll transfer your money back to the bank account of your choice.

11. Can I sell outside the country?

You can sell outside the country but you must have a bank account in Nigeria for verification and for withdrawal of your funds.

12. How does Simplelink verify those selling outside the country?

You must have a bank account in Nigeria to use SimpleLink. We use the bank account for merchant verification and withdrawal of your funds. We do not do international transfer of funds.

13. How do I make withdrawals?

To make a withdrawal, Click on “Request a Transfer” on the top right corner of your dashboard. First transfer take 48 hours because of merchant verification, Subsequent transfer takes 24 hours.

14. How long does it take for my funds to reflect on my bank account?

It takes 48 hours for the first transfer from your Simplelink account (because of bank verification) and 24 hours  subsequently.
